Hi everyone, let me introduce you to Ole' Black Betty. She is actually younger than she looks, in fact she is brand new. She is a 2009 FLSTN Softail Deluxe. She has most of the cool stock Deluxe stuff, like the white wall tires and the tombstone tail light. We just added a few things to build on to the ole' school theme. We started with a chrome front end package, trim rings on all of the lights, smoked out turn signals, and chrome fork caps. From there it was up to the fat 1 1/4" ape hangers, which measure 12" tall. Of course that just wouldn't be complete without the braided cables and the chrome hand controls, so we added those too. After that the sound just didn't match the looks, so then came the Vance & Hines true dual exhaust, complete with Screamin' Eagle air cleaner kit and race tuner. Perfect!

What do you do when you want old school looks but the reliability of a modern motorcycle? Easy. You start with a new 2008 Harley-Davidson® XL1200N Nightster® and go nuts with it. Well, we did it for you so you don't have to. We started with wide white wall tires to give it that "gangster" look. With the Nightster's already lowered stance, it just looks right. Then, we went with black mini ape handlebars to make it feel right. It already had a solo seat, so we added a leather fender bib and a black detachable rack over the fender. Then we turned our attention to the exhaust. We chose black Bassani Pro Street side by side pipes with dark grey header wrap. The header wrap matches the stock engine finish extremely well. Also added was a race tuner and a high flow air cleaner kit to accomodate for the more radical exhaust. Then we topped it off with forward controls for a more relaxed riding position.

Boy, did we go overboard on this one! Take a stock 2007 FLSTF Softail ® Fat Boy ® and strip the exhaust and all the tins off of it and we have something we can work with. We put it back together with Vance & Hines big radius 2-into-1 exhaust (fully tuned), a smooth air cleaner and horn cover, and chrome mid-frame & seat post covers. To put the paint back on we used the Signature Series "Octane" Radical Paint set with flush mount fuel caps, a custom tank panel, and a layback license plate bracket.

The only thing that can be said when looking at the paint on this bike is "WOW!" Our 2007 "Overdrive" FXSTB Softail ® Night Train ® is a true eye catcher. The marbled effect in the maroon colored paint on the stretched fuel tank and fenders is simply enough, but throw in some bold-yellowish-gold traditional flames and you can almost see the steam roll off. To complete the look we lowered the rear end and a multi-colored leather Sidekick seat.
